After a successful tour across the Balkans and Berlin, Waag brings the International Summit of Cheap Laser Graphics to Amsterdam. During Museumnight we join forces to transform the Waag building in a gallery that offers accessible artwork for all. Beforehand, guys from the Summit host an exclusive infographic workshop for all the artists and designers involved in our pop-up gallery.
We offer you the chance to join an infographic workshop, hosted by the International Summit of Cheap Laser Graphics. In this exclusive workshop, statistics from earlier Laser Summit exhibitions are translated in easy-to-understand infographics. In just four hours, dull numbers and semi-funny information will become significant. Let’s make some boring information interesting!
Participants are encouraged to bring tools they usually use (laptops, paper, scissors, ink). At the end of the workshop, a secret voting process takes place. Everybody will choose their three favourite infographics. A selection will be published.

About the pop-up gallery
On November 3th, the Waag building transforms in a pop-up art gallery that features more than hundred artworks from all over the world. Visitors of Museumnight can buy this graphic art on the spot for only €1,-. All the signed graphics are reproduced on A4 office paper, using only standard LaserJet printers. This gallery promotes young designers and makes artwork accessible for all.
