TextileLab Amsterdam is weekly open on Tuesday for anyone who wants to experiment with new ways of making textiles and clothes, new materials and digital fabrication. TextileLab is situated at the second floor of the historic Waag building at the heart of Amsterdam, that also houses Fablab Amsterdam and the Open Wetlab (on the first floor).
If you want to come to the TextileLab, please contact us by sending an e-mail first.
The TextileLab is a lab for fashion designers, textile designers, material designers, researchers, artists, engineers, and creatives interested in exploring the future of the textile and clothing industry. We experiment with craftsmanship, heritage, technology, digital fabrication and biology; share knowledge; and push the boundaries of the textile and clothing industry.
The TextileLab Amsterdam consists of the TextileLab Academy program, weekly open evenings, and monthly Textile Dialogues events.
The TextileLab Amsterdam is part of the European funded project: Textile and Clothing Business Labs (TCBL).
