Design for Peace is a series of knowledge events on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. It calls out to innovative thinkers to come up with impactful solutions that address global and environmental challenges. Waag Society’s Creative Learning Lab will be part of the summit in London on 13-15 December, presenting our best practices in maker education.
Design for Peace
The three part event consists of the World Humanitarian Design Summit, a Global Creative Competition and an International Hackathon in London. It gives the opportunity to designers, makers, producers and humanitarians to create projects that can benefit millions of refugees around the world and present their ideas on stage during the summit.
More than 10.000 euros in cash & prizes can be won, but most importantly the opportunity to materialize a project in the refugee camps of Greece. The deadline to submit ideas to the competition is December 1st.
Everyone can join the movement and #hack4peace!
