A data platform for administrative networks, functions and power

Transparent Netherlands wanted to contribute to our democracy by making it more robust and by improving the information position of citizens. Openness and transparency of administrative and political networks are excellent tools to regain the trust of citizens. At the same time, Transparent Netherlands wanted to offer journalists the means to work with data and network analysis, offered by the technological possibilities that are available in the 21st century.

The website (no longer available) was also a useful source of information for scientists and researchers. It worked on the basis of available (open) data of persons, organisations and relations in The Netherlands.

Media partners in this project were: Vrij Nederland, De Correspondent, De Volkskrant, Follow the Money and VPRO Tegenlicht.
