The Embodied Learning installation (developed by Waag's Creative Learning Lab) will be available for use at the 2015 Cinedans Festival that will be held at the EYE between 11-15 of March 2015.
Embodied learning is a form of learning for which one uses his or her whole body to get results. In an embodied learning environment, the interaction between body and space is essential. The body and physical movement are, therefore, important interfaces for learning in hybrid spaces (both virtual as well as physical). The idea behind embodied learning is that physical interaction can stimulate existential learning. Wearables, tangible and intelligent objects, sensor technology, motion-tracking, and interactive video all come together in this method of learning.
