Joeke van der VeenIntern

Joeke van der Veen studied Lifestyle and Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy.

Joeke specialized in materials and crafts during her internships at Studio Claudy Jongstra and Instructables. In combination with her passion for writing, this results in in-depth research projects.

An example is the research project ‘Human as Resource’, which she performed at the Open Wetlab and the Textile Lab of Waag in 2016. This project is about approaching the human body as a source of valuable materials, that can be applied in circular production processes.
