TCBL marked success story by European Commission

In 2016, the TextileLab was founded at Waag by Cecilia Raspanti and Ista Boszhard. The European project Textile and Clothing Business Labs formed the breading ground and led to the founding of this lab.

Within TCBL, Waag and its TextileLab helped lead innovative practices in the European textile and clothing industry, and in the network of textile and clothing labs across Europe. TCBL sparked radical, sustainable change. It united the European clothing industry, which led to the European Commission marking the EU-funded project TCBL as one of their success stories.

TextileLab congratulates all the project partners! And, good to know: the TCBL project has been turned into a foundation to be able to continue the work together. Anyone who wants to transform the textile and clothing industry: sector businesses, researchers and explorers, service providers, and experts facilitating knowledge exchange and innovation, is invited to join the TCBL network. Become part of a value-based community where different types of organisations are working together to create a low-risk environment for business model innovation.
