Friday 24 April 2015 marks the opening night in EYE of the exhibition William Kentridge – If We Ever Get to Heaven.
Starting on 25 April, EYE is presenting the exhibition If We Ever Get to Heaven, featuring work by the celebrated South African artist William Kentridge (b. 1955, Johannesburg). Kentridge achieved renown with his remarkable animation films, charcoal drawings and installations composed of film, sound, music and sculptural objects, and he is also active as an opera and theatre director.
One of the guests at the opening night is Floortje Zonneveld, who we know as an intern at Waag. This time she gives a workshop to make virtual reality glasses for your smartphone. And shows historical images in 3-D. Looks like a fun night to go to for makers!
