On the 26th of April I attended the debate 'The Power of Facebook' in the Waag. This debate was organized on the occasion of the publication "Friendship to the fair," a book by Peter Olsthoorn about the fastest growing social network in the world. A network that recently even went to the stock market. Reason enough to take a closer look at Facebook, and the impact this social network has on our lives. The subject stirred lots of fierce discussion and gave me plenty of food for thought. And in the end, I have to agree with one of the audience-member that stated: "I 'like' this debate!"
