Waag comments on the need of digitisation in election programmes

Next Wednesday the Netherlands will be able to cast their votes in the 2025 general election. Waag takes a long-standing position on the importance of digitisation in policy. It is therefore a crucial moment to examine the presence of digitisation in the election manifestos.

Afterwards, we reviewed the election programmes of twelve parties to see to what extent our recommendations had been taken on board.

Earlier this week, we organised an election debate on our digital society together with Amnesty International, Open State Foundation, PublicSpaces, and SETUP. Were you unable to attend? Trouw summarised the afternoon for you (article in Dutch).
