‘Times they are a changing.’
Faster than ever, the world around us is changing. And faster than ever, our tools to deal with these changes seem dated. How we want to shape our future seems more than ever a design question. And not an easy one. A question for which we need all of our creativity, thinking and making power. On Thursday 16 November, Future Talks featured artists, designers and creative professionals trying to tackle the big challenges of our time.
Waag Futurelab and Tabo Goudswaard facilitated the conversation about the future. What can the public sector learn from these groups? What practical examples do we know? How do we move from inspiration to systemic change? How do we ensure a structural role of creativity in solving the big problems of today and the future?
About Waag Future Talks
How can we make a future society sustainable and inclusive and what role do artists and designers play in this? The Future Talks series is focused around this question. Future Talks is an initiative of Waag Futurelab and is realised in collaboration with the Social Creative Council. These interactive talk shows are Dutch spoken.
