Petra Bíró is an intern doing research and writing at team Code of Waag.
She is especially interested in researching the social and ethical implications of datafication, contributing to projects that engage citizens in creating a fairer society with the help of technologies.
She studied New Media and Digital Culture at Utrecht University, where she explored the relationship between different stakeholders that shape datafication in public space. Before coming to the Netherlands, she finished her bachelor’s degree in History of Art at the University of York, specialising in contemporary art and digital culture.
