A full-colour catalog of the 'Connected! (The making of a LiveArt Exchange)' programme, which ran at Waag from 2003-2005, was published in 2005. It contains images and descriptions of a wide variety of projects from the artists who participated. Projects of the Connected programme included Anatomic, an artists-in-residence programme, the Sentient Creatures lecture series and LF:TK (LifeForm:TeleKinetics), about networked objects and performances.

The enabling technology behind the Connected programme was KeyWorx. This technology, developed at Waag, provided powerful tools for dynamic collaborative creation over a network. Within the Connected! programme a number of international workshops were held by invitation. The Connected! events and performances were live-streamed via the Waag’s broadband Gigaport connection, accessible to a global public. De Waag’s historic Theatrum Anatomicum was being transformed to support a virtual stage.

Editors of the book are Sher Doruff and Nancy Mauro-Flude. This publication can be downloaded and distributed under a Creative Commons License.
