Dementia can be defined as the deterioration of intellectual faculties, such as memory, concentration, and judgment, resulting from an organic disease or a disorder of the brain. It is sometimes accompanied by emotional disturbance and personality changes.

The mission of this hackathon on 2 December is building an innovative ‘fit’ between demand and supply for dementia patients. Teams will work on a way to choose the right kind of aid that people that live with dementia and their caregivers need.
