Bas WithagenBack End Developer

Bas Withagen worked until 2014 parttime as Back End Developer at Waag within his specialism of both hardware and software development. He studied Game Technology en Physical User Interfaces at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht. In 2012, he received his Fab Academy Certificate and is teaching digital personal fabrication techniques.

Bas worked at numerous projects, like Scottie (within the GATE research programme, Self City (wearables), the project StoryBOX and the Smart Citizen Kit, just to name a few. After his period at Waag, Bas moved to Iceland to establish a new Fablab in Reykjavik for the Innovation Center Iceland.
