Make the Future Tbilisi

A team of developers and designers from Waag, existing of Douwe-Sjoerd Boschman and Laurens Schuurkamp, together with Janine Huizenga from The Creative Cooperative are leading a three-day workshop at in Tbilisi, Georgia for the UNDP programme called 'Make the Future'. This is the first in a series of workshops in the programme, finding solutions for local problems.

Other locations for the workshops will be Cairo, Egypt and Armenia. After two days of concepting and prototyping, the results will be presented on Sunday 27 April 2014.

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Waag are cooperating in the program 'Make the Future'. In addition to the Millenium goals citizens all over the world were consulted to envision their future. The idea for the program is to engage citizens in creating sustainable solutions for social challenges. In 'Make the future' cititzens are given the opportunity to make the future they want.
