Europe’s creative and cultural industries stand at a crossroads: AI is reshaping manufacturing, art, design and architecture (MADA), but without strategic action, we risk losing our unique creative identity to generic, standardized outputs. The RenAIssance project is building a European cooperation ecosystem to ensure that AI amplifies our values and does not erase it.
If you're based in the Netherlands and work or study in across practice, education, business, and policy in the fields of manufacturing, art, design and architecture, please consider joining this ecosystem, because your ideas, experiences, and concerns matter to us, as it is critical to shape the futures together instead of trying to follow the trends and using the Big Techs’ tools that put profits before ethics and values.
As part of the RenAIssance project, we from Waag Futurelab are inviting practitioners, educators, and policymakers to co-create the below:
- future AI-supported curricula for creative education;
- a European AI Skills Strategy;
- real-world pilot projects in the sector.
To prepare for the above-mentioned activities, we would like to have an overview of what is happening in the fields of MADA. Can you please help with our research by filling in the survey?
