On 27 and 28 June 2012, the annual AVM 2012 will be held at the Mediapark in Hilversum. CineGrid will participate in this event, with a session on 28 June about Immersive media, with speakers of TNO, Sony and Media Guild. This event will be Dutch spoken.
During this session three speakers will discuss the latest developments in the field of “Beyond HD” production and distibution. Research projects like CineGrid and FascinatE will be part of the presentations. Speakers at this afternoon session (12.15-13.45 uur) are:
- Omar Niamut, senior research scientist at TNO presents the European research project FascinatE.
- Bas Roelfsema, solution key account manager at Sony on 4K products.
- Auke Ferwerda, director of Media Guild on 4K production.
