Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a hot topic. Both pros and cons are discussed in public discourse. Today, for instance, students can have a paper written by ChatGPT. Does Siri answer your questions in an instant, but also secretly listens in on your conversations. Intelligent robots could be a solution to the staff shortage in healthcare or greenhouse farming. But can humans and robots also work well together?
There will be a lot of research into AI in the coming years. This research is shaping technology and influencing how this technology will have a place in our society. That is why it is important to participate in thinking about what that research should be about.
What themes would you like to give scientists? What is your vision of the future for artificial intelligence? And which research directions should researchers avoid? Think along with the national science agenda!
Come to RuParé on Thursday 22 June to join others in thinking about social themes scientists should pay attention to.

The outcomes of the day will serve as input for the National Science Agenda. This agenda will determine the direction of scientific research in the Netherlands. It is important for the agenda to be based on interest from society. And who better to determine than you?
