D/F Lab: the future of architecture

Digital Fabrication is radically changing the way we design, build and live (in) our cities. Since digital designs can be created, shared and materialized at the touch of a button, the ancient art of building is rapidly opening up to vastly more people and organizations than ever before.

Together with the advancement of cheap but powerful 3D printers, laser cutters, and repurposed industrial robots, architects and architecture are bound to change – but how?

In Design/Fabrication Lab, sponsored by the Fund Creative Industries NL, an international collective consisting of architects, industry, social design agencies and governments have been working on some of the answers.

On October 27th, we’ll explore of the future of architecture. We invited pioneers in the field of digital fabrication, to join this event and share their ideas and knowledge with us.
