The city is digitising at a rapid pace. Thirty years ago, we still had the choice to log onto De Digitale Stad. Now we can hardly log out. The digital city is everywhere: the smart cameras on the street, the digital participation tools and the algorithms in municipal policy. We can no longer avoid the question: how do we want to use technology? And how absolutely not? What values are we using? In short: how do the political parties of Amsterdam differ in their vision of the digital city, now that the local election is coming up?
