For the exhibition 'PostNatural Organisms of the European Union' at the Theatrum Anatomicum of the Waag the Center for PostNatural History and Waag organize a suiting finnisage. This exhibit featured 11 preserved specimens of life forms that were intentionally altered by humans using the processes of domestication, selective breeding and genetic engineering.
The finissage of this exhibition is on 16 September oat 16.00 hrs with:
- Rich Pell (director Center for Postnatural History),
- Paul van Krimpenfort (scientist, creator of the first transgenic bull Herman).
This exhibition was part of the Studiolab – Utopian Practices project, an initiative of Waag and Leiden University in collaboration with the Designers & Artists for Genomics Award. Supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Innovatie Cultuuruitingen.
