The Golden @penstaart and the Media Ukkie Award will be announced on 17 April 2013 at The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision (‘Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid’) in Hilversum. Lodewijk Loos will be part of the jury on behalf of Waag this year.
There are four categories:
- Golden @penstaart for websites made for children (age 6-12) by professionals
- Gouden @penstaart for websites for children made by children
- Gouden @penstaart for apps made by children
- Media Ukkie Award for apps for the youngest ('ukkies') (aged 0-6) made by professionals
