On 13 February 2014, Waag and the DIVV Amsterdam will kick off the project Open Data FWD. In this project, we want to connect concrete urban issues concerning mobility with digital solutions. New data, new questions, new business!
We focus on applications that use open data, improve or enrich it. During the kick off, stakeholders from different backgrounds will discuss specific issues and potential digital solutions. We will focus on three themes: parking, bicycling and public transport.
This event will be Dutch spoken.
The prizes!
In each category a 4,000 euro prize can be won for the development of the concept. We will also award an incentive prize of 1,000 euros. The city will offer it's support during the development. Additionally, the winner of the challenge in May can in a later stage pitch his/her concept to investors in an international business lounge. A great opportunity to bring the idea under the attention on a European level. He/she who wins this international business lounge gets to present on stage during Future Everything 2015.
