About the exhibition
Waag Futurelab is hosting 9 artists and designers during GLUE 2026, showcasing how design can scratch at the surface of larger themes. Our designed world is broken, can we fix it? At least we can mend, patch, hack and repair. Ducttape Collective is showing how we can adapt and repurpose machines, and change our relation to them by quite literally using ducttape and patching to generate signal from the noise.

About GLUE
GLUE Amsterdam is a city-wide design route that takes place this year from 17–19 September 2026. Across three days, more than 150 designers, studios, galleries, academies and cultural institutions open their doors to the public with exhibitions, talks, installations and tours, creating a living portrait of Amsterdam's design scene.
