On Saturday, January 12, 2019 a new Maakplaats 021 opens in OBA CC Amstel for children and parents from the neighbourhood! Between 12.00 - 15.00 there are several workshops to follow for children from 8 years. At 14.00 hours the Maakplaats officially opens.
The program consists of the following workshops:
Workshop Micro: bit
In this workshop you will learn programming with Scratch and the micro: bit, a super cute small computer. You will make visual text messages, learn to program light and music and create your own night light.

Workshop Artbot
Always wanted to create an original artwork? Or your own robot? During this workshop we combine it! You learn how to put together a real 'ArtBot'. At the end of the workshop we release the homemade bots on a roll of paper to create a beautiful work of art!

Experiment with littleBits, Makey Makey and Ozobot
Electronics kits are a great way to learn how to make and program. In this workshop we use Makey Makey to synchronize everyday objects with computer programs and explore circuits with littleBits.
