The socially inclusive city

Frank Kresin (Waag) will give his first reaction to the presentation, 'The socially inclusive city,' by Anthony Townsend (NYU) at AMS Institute on 12 March 2015. This special lecture is organized in collaboration with the John Adams Institute and is moderated by Tracy Metz.

Anthony Townsend is a visionary in the field of Smart Cities. He is a Senior Research Scientist at New York University’s Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management, and is also the author of 'Smart Cities: Big Data, Civic Hackers, and the Quest for a New Utopia', which was published in 2013. The book is the culmination of a decade of research, activism, and consulting at the intersection of urbanization and ubiquitous computing.

Let’s Talk Solutions! is a series of public lectures, hosted by AMS Institute. The monthly talks are inspiring, critical, and interactive.
