Merel Buvelot is an intern with Waag's Learn team. She is working on the Centrinno project, where she is collecting stories for the Living Archive and researching the history of Amsterdam-Noord.
After a bachelor's degree in philosophy and forays into environmental science and illustration, Merel is currently doing a master's degree in Urban History at the University of Amsterdam. With this internship, Merel hopes to experience history in practice.
