Instructable 3: Darning Wool

Reflow Instructables: Mend your own clothes!

Time to repair that hole in your jumper, sock, glove, or anything else made from wool. We will use the darning technique! This consists of cleaning the hole, inserting the embroidery hoop, threading the needle, sewing the columns followed by the various rows, and finishing. Need more information? Check the manual.

You will need:

• Embroidery hoop or a darning mushroom for socks or sleeves (a potato can also work!)
• 100% merino wool yarn (our recommendation) or 100% cotton threads (our recommendation)
• Darning needle
