Serkan KasapoğluResearch and Communications Intern

Serkan is a research and communications intern at Waag Futurelab. He works with the Interface team and on art-science projects.

Serkan studied Western Languages and Literatures at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul and obtained two master's degrees from the University of Amsterdam, in Comparative Cultural Analysis and Global Cross-Media Cultures. His research centres on censorship and propaganda, and he has an upcoming publication with Routledge on censorship against queer people. He is also actively involved with queer and feminist NGOs.
