In 2019, Waag turned 25 years old. We celebrated that festively. Next to this, 2019 was an important year in which we took a step forward on both the substantial and the organisational level.
Marleen Stikker: 'Our motto at Waag is 'technology is not neutral'. This has been grasped more and more, because the problematic effects of digitalisation on society are surfacing. Our longing to secure cultural and societal values into our digital future is now being recognised on local, national and international levels.'
