Within the Public Stack charging infrastructure project Waag researched how to apply the public stack model to the infrastructure of charging poles for electric vehicles such as cars. Assigned by RVO, we recommended putting public values central to the process. Openness, privacy, equality and other values can and must be at the core of the technology we use.
Following the project, RVO asked Waag to continue her research into the ways Dutch municipalities can sharpen their policies on charging infrastructure, putting the interests of their inhabitants on the forefront. The recommendations for local governments in the Netherlands can be read on the Topsector Energie website (in Dutch).
