Doing it together science series

In the first half year of 2017, Waag's biolab will bring 'Het Praktikum', a series of themed nights in Dutch during which we unravel the latest biotech taboos and explore our own morals. During these evenings we will debate on the latest advances in biotechnology: CRISPR, bioterrorism, genetic modification, and personal medication.

This series is part of the European programme 'Doing it together science'. It aims to build the institutional and policy foundations for deep public engagement in science and technology in Europe. We combine our resources and expertise to raise awareness, build capacity, and innovative lasting solutions grounded in society. For more information about the debate series, please turn to the Dutch version of this news item.

These events are all Dutch spoken.
