A game, apps, a chip, online services and a watch. The finalists of the Mobiles for Good Challenge are announced! In this challenge Vodafone Foundation and Waag are looking for mHealth applications that smartly use mobile technology to improve our health care services. For this second edition we received more than 200 entries. Six finalists were selected to battle for the final victory on 26 September to win a prize of € 40.000,-.
The six finalists are Sweetmotion, PebbleMED, Mobiles for Mothers, the initiative Livesvr, online service Doktervrij and CareRate.
Finals
The finals will be held at the Emerce eHealth congress (26/9 at Pakhuis de Zwijger, Amsterdam) were they pitch their concept for the jury. The winners will get 40.000 euro to realise their ideas
