After two Summer Schools at the Waag building in Amsterdam in the past years, a third Summer Academy was organised on location this year. Earlier participants of the Hout- en Meubileringscollege (HMC) created together with Waag a programme to share their knowledge and experiences with their colleagues.

Emerging technologies, the accessibility of online information and questions about sustainability are changing the practice of making, the role of makers and their way of thinking. How are teachers in maker education handling the new machines, (open) software, materials, information and changing principles?
