Makers spaces (maakplaatsen) are playrooms equipped with machines and equipment for making prototypes and models. Here you can learn to design, create, discover, experiment and make. Every year, makers space coaches are trained during the Librarian Maker Camp: a two-day training with the aim of gaining inspiration and discovering new making techniques - but above all to get back into the role of a making child. This year's theme was: Maakplaats of the future.
