More than five hundred students (aged 11-16) from various Technasium schools in the Amsterdam region worked on the 'Circular neighbourhood' project during the 2022-2023 school year. They were challenged to creatively make visible the makers in their neighbourhood. Think bicycle makers, locksmiths, woodworkers and clothing repairers. These makers are fast disappearing and that is a bad thing. The pupils tackled this within their Research & Design lessons, in which they work in small teams on solutions to 'a real problem'. Their experiences are captured in this specially made magazine!
