Armed with dishwashing brushes and vibration motors we travelled South, to the Zomerparkfeest in Venlo to make Bristlebots with children. Under the trees, in a dry and somewhat dusty park, the gates were opened at noon and hundreds of children flooded the Summer park party.
With much enthusiasm they made robots of their brushes. From indistinct animals to cats and guinea pigs, all kinds of creatures were fabricated. They were each provided with a brush and a battery, that we connected for them and then they could start working on the long and cheerful table to make it their own creation. A colourful scene! At four o'clock, we had 170 different robots and all our materials were finished. Event a success and a happy day!.
