Media have an increasing amount of influence on us, which illustrates the importance for children to learn to think critically about the use and workings of internet and beware of topics such as big data and privacy.
Waag, Bits of Freedom and Network Democracy have joined hands to develop a new lesson plan called "The Boss On The Internet" to address these topics with children aged 10-14 years. The free educational modules will available in Dutch from today.
In an earlier stage, a translation in English (pdf) was made available of the material. The Dutch version has been reworked after input from Dutch teachers.
