The fifth edition of the alumni magazine 'REX' is about Open Design, with articles Barry de Bruin, Robert Nelk, Aymeric Mansoux, Daisy Kroon, Conny Groenewegen, Gordan Savicic and Nancy Mauro-Flude. Robert Nelk was intern at Waag and wrote an article about the Fablab and the 'Low-Cost prosthesis project for the magazine.
REX is a combination of 'serious' and 'fun': a range of high quality articles and remarkable images. All sorts of disciplines are brought together in this magazine, in which the artist/designer and his/her product are the main attraction. REX is not only meant for alumni, but also for other relations of our Academy. These include art lovers, applied and autonomous artists, cultural entrepreneurs and experts of various fields of study.
