In the Mixed Reality for heritage project, Waag and her partners Imagine IC, Studio Louter and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences researched the technology of Mixed Reality in practice for museums and heritage institutions. MR adds a digital layer to an analogue location.
We researched its possibilities at the former Garage Kempering, which was demolished in 2020 and had great meaning for its neighbourhood (K-buurt) in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost. Through MR that meaning could be brought back and remembered. The final publication of our research is now here, and can be read in Dutch.
