User-friendly technology is helping drivers of electric cars to efficiently share charging points around the country.
Social Charging is a free app, offering a new solution to the problem that there are not enough charging points available, while some of them may be unnecessarily kept occupied. It is helping to use the charging points in The Netherlands more efficiently, by sharing information among the users.
The app earlier won the Smart Mobility Challenge as well as the Open Data Forward Challenge, organized by Waag and the city of Amsterdam DIVV. More information about the app is available at the Dutch version of this page.
