Education is not depending on time and location. That was the conclusion by the student coaches of the University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam. During the 4th edition of the project Students in Motion (SIM), 80 coaches gave feedback to more than 2,000 students at the same time through Google Hangouts.
Winning app 'Veilig Amsterdam (Safe Amsterdam)'
Students in Motion 2014 also came with an app contest. All 2,000 students were divided in teams and were assigned to a specific neighbourhood in Amsterdam to develop an app for. Team Helium won this contest with an app about safety in the city.
Waag and the City of Amsterdam cooperated with the University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam for this project.
