panic - yes or no?

Ars Electronica Festival

The annual Ars Electronica Festival will take place in Linz, Austria, from September 3 to 7. Waag Futurelab will be there—find out below where you can meet us throughout the festival.

From September 3 to 7, Linz will once again become a hotspot for the international media art scene. Exhibitions, performances, concerts and conferences will be held at festival locations throughout the city. This year's theme is PANIC - yes or no? How do we deal with fear in this time of great uncertainty? And what is the task and possible impact of artistic work? That is what the Ars Electronica Festival 2025 will explore. You can find Waag at different times and places throughout the festival. Come find us and join our workshops, talk with our experts, and learn more about our research and mission.
