Waag will open its doors from 19 to 22 September this year during GLUE, a four-day design tour in Amsterdam.
We live in a consumption driven society: everything is for sale and buying something new is often easier than (having it) repaired. Among other things, this puts a lot of pressure on the climate. There must be another way, don't you think?
During GLUE, Waag Futurelab showcases artists and designers that challenge you to look at the design world and its production processes in a different way.
Each work highlight a different part of the design and production chain: from industry to crafts and culture to nature and challenge you to look at our environment and systems differently. Each with its own original idea for change. Experience the meaning behind the designs and take a closer look into the future.
Featuring works by Suzette Bousema, Shai Dataukar, Nicola Elis, Morris Bouwman, Marcos Kueh, Laura Weller, Kristina Pulejkova, Govert Flint, Hsiang-Lin Kuo, David Rickard, Cream on Chrome, Anka Walicka and Anna Dumitriu.
About GLUE
During GLUE, you can visit different venues throughout the city. See the map with participating venues. The exhibition at Waag Futurelab is open to visitors from 11:00 to 17:00 hrs every day.
As a cultural partner of GLUE, Waag Futurelab aims to provide a platform for new ideas from the design world. Creating things, prototyping and practical experimentation allow us to work towards a better future.

On Saturday September 21st there will be a special opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their works.
