During the HMC Summerschool 20 teachers of the Amsterdam Hout en Meubileringscollege (HMC vocational college for woodworking, furniture and interior design) will work for four days in our Fablab in Amsterdam. For us, this means a good preparation for the Teacher Maker Camp that we will organize in the Autumn holiday period for 40 teachers that will follow a similar program.
Teachers will get acquainted with the newest maker technologies—like digital fabrication, 3D printing, electronics, and programming. But most of all, they get to experience being a learner again. They get to be inspired, and to make what they always wanted to make.
