This year Waag’s Creative Learning Lab organizes the PICNIC Young program at PICNIC for the sixth time. On Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th of September, young creatives will design their ideal 21th century workplace at PICNIC in a mobile Fablab.

Workplace of the future
What does education look like in the 21th century? What would be the ideal workplace in the future? A group of young creatives will show you! After a brainstorm session led by philosopher Humberto Schwab, the students will work on designing their 21th century workplace in a mobile Fablab (Fabrication Laboratory). This Fablab offers digital fabrication on wheels. With a laser cutter, a vinyl cutter, a 3D printer and a small CNC machine, this truck travels throughout Netherlands to offer people the opportunity to build almost anything.

Everyone is welcome to check out the work in progress during PICNIC. Their final designs and sketches will be showed on a wall, which exists of 14 meters of boxes.
