It is a time of many protests. And with a good protest sign, you can make a lot of impact. That's why Waag is hosting a workshop on the 7th of April during our open Thursdays. With artist Thieu Custers, you will discuss the use of good, but also funny slogans. After this, you will learn how to screen print in a workshop - a technique you only have to learn once and then will forever be able to use, even from your own living room. We will stick all posters on the windows of the ancient Waag building, showing the city what you have to say.
In this workshop, you will learn how to empower your message by using colours, words and different shapes. What are you protesting for, or against?
When: Thursday 7 April, 19:30-21:00 hrs
Where: Maker's guild in de Waag, Nieuwmarkt 4 in Amsterdam
A ticket costs 5 euros and includes a drink.
