Gizing KhalandiIntern

Gizing Khalandi worked as an intern for the Code research group at Waag. During her internship, she examined the online identity development of young adults. She focused on how young adults present different identities on social media. How do they avoid inconveniences that can occur due to the different groups on social media (friends, family, acquaintances, etc.)?

During her internship, Gizing was finishing her Master's degree in Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology. She is interested in exploring future imaginaries and the ethical issues that arise when new technologies are used. She previously studied Communication Multimedia Design at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Leisure Management at Helicon MBO Tilburg.
