Keye Wester was project developer for Waag's Future Internet Lab and Commons Lab. Here, he developed and lead projects that help protect citizens' and human rights in the swiftly digitising world. His work focused on awareness of how technology, through social innovation, also has the potential to put power back into the hands of citizens. Keye wants to contribute to making complex and technical subjects more accessible by moulding them into everyday, naturally relatable stories.
Previously, Keye worked in big pharma, career counseling and naval architecture. He obtained a bachelor's degree in medicine and a master's degree in Global Health at Maastricht University. In his spare time, Keye studies humanistics.
